Introducing the Inno Madness Bracket

After a month of close-fought battles, we're excited to announce our first-ever First Coast Inno Madness winner: NLP Logix!

With the contest coming down to the wire, NLP overtook Revalize Software in the final round, with roughly 58% of the votes.

Since March 1, First Coast Inno Madness had nearly 4,000 votes spread between the 16 companies that were vying for the inaugural title.

The level of engagement ties in with the whole point of the friendly competition: raising awareness for the innovative companies the First Coast has to offer.

Companies like NLP Logix and the other competitors are just some of the innovative startups, fast-growing tech companies and others that are reshaping the local economy.

Check out how the bracket played out in the graphic below.

Meet the Players:

  • Gogh Technologies - "This software supports service-based small businesses by providing a marketplace, landing page, payment solution, scheduling, and means to communicate with customers. It also supports professional service providers with access to the service businesses to support their success, such as attorneys, marketing, accounting, etc. The eco-system allows for an infrastructure and community to support the small businesses increasing their potential for success."
  • Revalize Software - "It’s simple — we build and deliver software that makes it easier to make connections and realize more revenue. We have the tools you need to create better buying experiences, sales cycles, and manufacturing processes through a SaaS platform for CPQ, PIM, design applications, engineering simulations, tools for visualization, AR/VR, and more."
  • BeTheStage.live - "We are at the forefront of a giant looming market category- community creation as business development for small and medium sized businesses."
  • OnDefend - "We have developed proprietary cyber security solutions that have found product market fit, are already working with global partners and clients, and our revenue has been doubling year over year."
  • Urban SDK - "Young company with tremendous upside (contracts w/ every major government agency in State of Florida, along with other major players outside the state); strong B2B potential in variety of industries; strong group of seed investors, including State of Florida's Opportunity Fund."
  • Dome Therapeutics - "Dome Therapeutics is innovating breakthrough gene and cell therapies to revolutionize the treatment of brain cancer and neurological disorders."
  • Hazlnut - "Hazlnut has seen tremendous growth over the past three years and offers a SaaS product for restaurants that provides custom branded apps with rewards, upselling, and more."
  • Rose: Smarter Mental Health - "Rose is a digital mental health platform that leverages deep tech for early detection of depression and mood disorders and once identified, Rose seamlessly gives patients immediate access to support in the form of our self-care app as well as access to our 24/7/365 Rose Care Team."
  • IQ Fiber - Jacksonville-based internet service provider that recently announced its first 10-gigabit speed neighborhood. It has formed numerous national partners in preparation to scale throughout the Northeast Florida region.
  • Tauruseer - "Tauruseer is the data-driven risk management solution that provides a complete life cycle approach for security. Tauruseer's Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform, powered by Cognition Engine, helps you establish and enable compliance and security control automation through a combination of partner integrations, open-source tools, and services to simplify and accelerate time to value."
  • Podium X - It's like LinkedIn, Founder Rich Thompson said, except Podium X emphasizes the athletic résumé and soft skills honed by high-level athletic participation.
  • Perspective - "Perspective Application Inc. is a social networking and discussion platform changing the way people interact online. Through increased social interaction and collaboration, Perspective bolsters the significance of bi-partisanship throughout a world presently dominated by polarization. Our mission is to bring the world together through collaborative rhetoric and create a culture of understanding in order to further analyze and heed the perspective's of all individuals from all backgrounds and cultures."
  • Launcher.Solutions - "Our mission is to be the total technology provider for subprime & near-prime automotive lending institutions, regional banks, and credit unions by blending our expert knowledge and understanding of the industry with the most current technological advances to create robust and usable solutions."
  • NLP Logix - An AI software and development firm that specializes in data capture, modeling and integration, advanced analytics, application development and robotic process automation.
  • Wired2perform - A software development company that combines "behavioral science + people analytics to help you grow, optimize and access a more productive workforce from anywhere."
  • iRocker - iRocker is an outdoor sports and lifestyle brand specializing in inflatable paddle boards. Founder Steve Elder was named Entrepreneur of the Year for Florida by EW in 2021.
