Two years after data analytics firm Dun & Bradstreet relocated to the First Coast from New Jersey, CEO Anthony Jabbour said the company’s belief in the city has paid off.

“We’re very proud of our success and that we relocated here,” Jabbour said Tuesday afternoon. “It’s great being a part of this community and now seeing new companies move to Jacksonville.”

Dun & Bradstreet was recruited by JAXUSA Partnership to relocate to Jacksonville in 2021. At the time, the data firm received $21 million in incentives to relocate its American headquarters to Jacksonville and hire at least 500 employees at an average salary of $77,000. A little more than two years later, Jabbour said his company is on track to meet and exceed his goals for Dun & Bradstreet after the relocation.

His remarks, delivered at JAXUSA Partnership’s 2023 summer luncheon series, underscored his commitment to the community.

As evidence of the company's commitment to the community, Jabbour cited Dunn & Bradstreet’s intern program. He said that not only do they provide meaningful experience and provide mentors, about half of their local interns come back to work for them after graduation.

During the presentation, JAXUSA President Aundra Wallace asked Jabbour how effective the city’s marketing was toward companies.

Jabbour said the level of passion and care was evident and helped set the city’s pitch apart from others.

“You wanted us here and we could tell there was a deep desire for us to be here,” Jabbour said. “That made a big difference to us and was one of the big reasons we came here. The city and JAXUSA need to keep selling itself."
