Revalize told the Business Journal Tuesday that after almost three months of being in Jacksonville, it has acquired four companies.

The move comes after the newly created supply chain technology company made up of Jacksonville-based AutoQuote and four similar businesses said it wanted to bring more tech-based companies to the First Coast.

The acquisitions range from manufacturing-based solutions companies to revenue operations-based companies and include:

  • Attainia - a medical equipment planning software company
  • BCA Technologies - provides pricing, quoting, ordering, e-commerce and engineering software to manufacturers, distributors and engineers
  • LeadMethod - a software-based company that aggregates sales data for manufacturing distributors
  • MicroD - a platform that connects home furnishings manufacturers with their distribution channel

"We need to be able to accommodate all different types of manufacturing sectors," Revalize CEO Jim Contardi said. "Three of these companies that we've announced today will bring us into new sectors or expand our reach."

Revalize doesn't have a set number of acquisitions on the horizon, but in order to be a leading provider of revenue operation software, both organic growth and more acquisitions need to take place, he said.

"We have a very specific profile (of businesses) that we have in mind," Contardi said.

He said the majority of employees will be kept, but some roles will become unnecessary as the deals close.

"We are continuing to view Jacksonville as our headquarters," Contardi said. "Since we've last talked — 60 days ago — we've hired 24 people in Jacksonville."

The new company will bring together businesses that help manufacturers sell equipment ranging from industrial pumps to restaurant stoves to architectural lighting, bringing with it 100 new jobs in the first six months.

About 70 employees who will be part of the new company are already located in Jacksonville, Contardi said in June.
