Jacksonville-based TruTechnology, a managed IT services provider, has been acquired by NetGain Technologies, it was announced Monday.
In a release about the action, the acquisition was heralded as a major steppingstone for NetGain as it expands its footprint into a new Southeastern state. NetGain is headquartered in Kentucky and serves the Midwest and Southeast.
TruTechnology’s employees will continue with the company in their respective roles, the release said. Clients of TruTechnology will continue to receive service and support from TruTechnology as previously experienced.
In a statement, NetGain Technologies CEO Tim Burke described the importance of the move: “This is a major milestone for the organization. We have been really disciplined as we’ve searched for our first partnership in the state of Florida. When I met Doug (Lowenthal, owner and CEO of TruTechnology) and heard more about TruTechnology, I was incredibly impressed with their commitment to excellent client service and their process-driven approach to IT. Doug and the entire team are going to make us a better company and I could not be more excited about the future we’ll build together.”
The partnership with NetGain Technologies offers TruTechnology "additional resources and investments in marketing, sales, human relations and finance," the release said. NetGain is expected to continue to pursue acquisition opportunities for IT companies.
