Player Personnel: Colorado's top tech and startup hires in February

While Covid-19 has slowed hiring plans for many, the state’s top technology companies and startups are still bringing on crucial new personnel during the pandemic.

We track the major player personnel moves in our daily newsletter, the Beat. Below, we’ve listed the top Colorado technology and startup hires reported in February:

Angi Homeservices, the Denver-based parent company to HomeAdvisor, Angie’s List and other brands, announced that it has appointed a new CEO. Oisin Hanrahan, formerly the company’s chief product officer, is taking over for Brandon Ridenour as the company’s CEO. Ridenour is stepping down from the CEO position, Angi said in a release.

Crocs has hired an executive from Nike to run its North American business, and she starts as the clog maker expects a second year of red-hot growth. Emma Minto, most recently vice president in charge of the Nike Women’s business in North America for Beaverton, Oregon-based Nike, began work at Broomfield-based Crocs Inc. in February.

Denver's Engrain, an interactive mapping technology and data visualization software company, announced it has hired Matt Cox as VP of growth and sales. Prior to joining Engrain, Cox spent 16 years with RentPath, a digital marketing company for the real estate rental industry. In October, Engrain raised a $3.7M funding round to help grow its team to meet the demand of its customers.

Louisville-based Alchemer, a customer experience company, announced the hiring of Mary Beth Addison as senior VP of sales. Addison previously held executive positions at SuccessFactors, SAP and Visier and was recently VP of global sales at Evolv. Alchemer is the new name and brand for SurveyGizmo, as the company made the move in October to better represent its offerings.

Loveland-based Lightning eMotors, a provider of commercial electric vehicles for fleets, announced Kash Sethi as its new chief revenue officer. Sethi will join the company's leadership team and lead business development as Lightning eMotors transitions to being a public company via its business combination with GigCapital3.

Denver's Voyager Space Holdings announced the appointment of Marian Joh to the company's board of directors. Joh most recently served as the president and board director of Spaceflights Systems and was previously the co-founder, chair, president and chief financial officer of Andrews Space.

ClinOne, a virtual patient management platform, has named Kristopher Sarajian its VP of marketing to expand the reach of the company’s global platform to new sponsors and customers. Prior to joining ClinOne, Sarajian held senior leadership positions at PHT Corporation, TrialNetworks and DrugDev.

Local aerospace unicorn Boom Supersonic announced that it has appointed two people to its advisory council: Phil Condit, former chairman and CEO of The Boeing Company, and Tim Brown, executive chair of design firm IDEO.
