Building a new product or launching updates to an existing platform isn't an easy task, but it's something companies are constantly doing to enhance user experience. However, these changes often come as a surprise to users.

To simplify communication between a business and its end user, Boulder-based Beamer offers product teams a no-code product engagement platform. The tool allows companies to tell users about product updates and upcoming updates, as well as collect feedback from users about these changes.

The $20 million investment comes from Camber Partners, a business-to-business SaaS investment firm based in San Francisco. Beamer's new CEO, Satya Ganni, also comes from Camber.

According to LinkedIn, Ganni most recently served as Camber's operating executive and has experience leading other SaaS companies as their CEO. Beamer said in a statement that Ganni's experience leading SaaS companies, including multiple exits, mirrors its aspirations to scale.

"Joining as CEO offers a unique opportunity to not only continue the company's legacy but also to explore new avenues of growth and innovation," Ganni said in a statement. "Collaborating with Camber, with their deep insights and expertise, I am confident that together, we will drive Beamer to new heights and further solidify its place as a cornerstone tool in the product management landscape."

Ganni will replace former CEO and co-founder Mariano Rodriguez. Rodriguez and Beamer's other co-founder, Spencer Coon, will continue working at Beamer.

"Beamer has a significant future/upside and Mariano want to make sure that its positioned for greater success which prompted this change," Coon said in an email to Colorado Inno.

Rodriguez and Coon launched Beamer in 2018, but this wasn't their first joint venture. They co-founded Joincube, a B2B collaboration software for enterprises in Latin America, and Hibox, a messaging app for businesses.

Beamer currently has 13 employees but Coon told Colorado Inno it is ramping up hiring efforts.

"We are picking up new hiring to accelerate growth even further, expanding the product with additional offerings and working on our expanded vision to build a product adoption and engagement tool kit for PMs and PMMs and growing SaaS companies," Coon said in an email. "... [The] pipeline is strong to expand reach significantly in the near term."

Beamer is used by companies across the globe, including Freshworks, Linktree, Hotjar and Zenefits, among others.
