Meet The 25 Colorado Tech Companies at CES 2020

If you’re looking for the next big trends in tech, it’s hard to ignore the goings-on at CES.

From Jan. 7-10, more than 175,000 attendees are expected to check out more than 4,500 companies from across the country, looking at the latest trends.

Colorado will be well-represented at the event, with companies in robotics, IoT, medtech and others on display. If you’re making the trip to Vegas, make sure you check out these homegrown companies.

Altia

The Colorado Springs-based company develops user interfaces for a variety of industries, from airplane cockpits to medical devices – and even automobiles.

CableLabs

The Louisville-based not-for-profit innovation, research and development lab is working on new ways to make broadband faster and better.

Clayton InterGalactic

The company builds platforms and products to give people control over their own data. At CES 2020, it is launching the Presidio Device, an in-home device providing network transparency, secure data storage and high-speed VPN capabilities.

DISH Network

The Englewood-based television provider recently announced that its receivers now support the Google Nest Hello Video doorbell. When the doorbell rings, Nest Hello sends on-screen notifications directly to the television.

Eksa

The Denver startup has built wired headsets designed for gaming, offering noise cancelling and surround sound to enhance the experience.

EM Microelectronic-US

EM, a Swatch Group company, provides low-power, low-voltage mixed signal integrated circuits for battery-operated and field-powered applications across consumer and automotive industries.

Epilog Laser

The Golden-based company offers the laser engraving and cutting systems to cut almost any material - wood, acrylic, plastic, fabric and much more.

Furniture for Life

The Boulder company designs and builds massage chairs. FFL Brands will present two products at CES 2020: The OHCO M.8 Massage Chair and The Positive Posture Brio Sport Massage Chair.

Glow Labs

Dubbed an ‘IoT Design House,’ Commerce City’s Glow Labs takes IoT projects from an idea to a complete product. Outside of product development, it also provides consulting, prototyping and manufacturing for IoT project.

HeartHero

Denver-based HeartHero is making a portable defibrillator aimed at allowing people to respond to sudden cardiac arrest.

Innovators Network

The Innovators Network is a collective of award-winning innovators whose products are used by 100’s of millions of consumers and businesses worldwide each day.

Insight LiDAR

Insight LiDAR is redefining automotive LiDAR with their high-res, long range FMCW LiDAR sensor. Insight LiDAR’s chip-scale solution supports rapid identification and classification of targets enabling rapid and accurate decisions by perception teams.

LEOMO

LEOMO, Inc. founded by Kunihiko Kaji and Taizo Son in 2012, is headquartered in Boulder and sells, designs and manufactures devices and related services that contribute to advancements in sports.

Misty Robotics

Boulder’s Misty Robotics has created a personal robot that allows coders of all levels to learn coding skills by designing a robot. The Misty II is an advanced personal robot with professional-grade sensors that can be programmed to navigate to different rooms, recognize people and perform tasks.

Occipital

Born from Techstars Boulder in 2008, Occipital has gone on a meteoric rise with its computer vision technology, raising $71 million in the process.

Peak Audio

The company designs and builds innovative noise cancelling headphones that are compatible with all gaming consoles, including PC.

PopSockets

The Boulder-based maker of expandable phone grips offers a huge variety of grips, mounts and wallets.

Public Safety Communications Research

The federal research laboratory for public safety communications technologies in the U.S., PSCR performs internal R&D - and provides funding for external R&D - across technology areas critical to first responder communications including: VR/AR, video analytics, indoor mapping, mission critical voice and other broadband tech.

Serenity App

Serenity is a HIPAA-compliant communication platform for senior living centers to increase care team and family collaboration.

Sphero

The Boulder-based robotic company makes computer science fun for students of all ages with its catalogue of education products.

Sphix

Sphix is a community-based platform that allows members to match with community groups that are not only relevant to their interests and associations, but also provide personal and professional value.

SpotX

Denver-based SpotX is a video advertising and monetization platform, enabling media owners and publishers to monetize premium content across desktop, mobile and connected TV devices.

Televes USA

Televes is a company focused on the design, development and manufacturing of equipment for distributing telecommunication services. At CES Televes will showcase CareLife, a service platform for promoting the autonomy and wellbeing of the elderly.

The Last Gameboard

The Boulder startup is building the Kindle for hobby gaming, having recently raised $185,000 from 700 Kickstarter backers to bring its console to life.

Trova

TROVA is a smart storage device designed with a focus on discretion, security and beauty – perfect for jewelry, medications, credit cards and more.
