A Denver software startup that helps companies stay focused on key objectives announced an injection of capital on Tuesday that will help it expand its global operations.

Gtmhub closed a $9 million Series A round that was led by CRV and backed by Berkay Mollamustafaoglu, head of OpsGenie at Atlassian, Augusto Marietti, CEO of Kong and previous investor Launchub Ventures.

This investment round will support the growth and adoption of Gtmhub’s software that helps enterprises bridge the gap between strategy and operational execution, and enables companies to achieve better goals using integrated enterprise success systems.

“OKRs are quickly becoming the engine of the global economy, and our mission is to be the fuel for that engine,” Ivan Osmak, co-founder and CEO at Gtmhub, said in a statement. “We are a solutions-oriented company competing against the failure of the BI market and providing the kinds of insights that technology promised at one point. With this funding we want to create an enterprise success system to help customers achieve maximum growth acceleration.”

Founded in 2015, Gtmhub offers technological tools and software to enable enterprises to benefit from OKR's methodology and process for organizational goal-setting and management.

The platform integrates Slack, Jira, Facebook Workplace, and hundreds of other systems to allow employees to view the company's goals in their favorite apps. With Gtmhub, companies can transparently share progress on objectives, both short-term and long-term.

Currently more than 300 enterprises, not-for-profits and government organization use Gtmhub and the company has four global offices in Denver, London, Berlin and Sofia, Bulgaria.

Gtmhub has 10 employees here in Denver, with plans to grow that number to 40 by the end of 2020.

Aside from hiring, this round will enable the company to build upon its existing 150 data integrations and tools to improve the functionality of the platform and launch an internal marketplace where 3rd parties can list templated objectives, key results or insights for immediate use by Gtmhub customers.

“We surveyed all of the OKR platforms in the market and found that Gtmhub not only had the strongest, most diverse team but it’s the only product that addresses and meets the standards of small companies up through enterprises and governments,” Reid Christian, general partner at CRV, said in a statement.
