A fast-growing apparel retailer in the Dayton region just secured a major partnership with a well-known fundraising event. The partnership will further the company’s reach, as well as its goals with community outreach.

1803 Golf, a Dayton-based golf brand that has created a marketplace for emerging golf brands to connect with a new wave of golfers, has struck a partnership as the official golf apparel sponsor of the 2023 Marty Brennaman Golf Classic benefiting the Reds Community Fund on Aug. 7 at Maketewah Country Club in Cincinnati.

As the official golf apparel sponsor, 1803 Golf will provide custom-designed polos for the event, ensuring participants and attendees look their best on the course.

Sponsoring the 2023 Marty Brennaman Golf Classic is a major step forward for 1803 Golf, which launched last August by brothers Colin and Cody Hart. In that time, they have not only launched their own products featuring the 1803 Golf brand, but have partnered with several other brands like On Point, Grunk Dolfer, Tropical Bros and Jersey City Golf Club to offer customers a variety of golf brands in one central marketplace location online.

“Growing up Cincinnati Reds fans, this was a natural partnership to pursue as our business has grown,” Cody said. “The Reds and the Reds Community Fund have an amazing impact in the region and we wanted to be part of that.”

The duo hopes that the partnership with the Reds Community Fund will bring more visibility to 1803 Golf and create future partnership opportunities with emerging golf brands. Additionally, this partnership will help 1803 Golf connect with more community organizations that need support from brands and companies like 1803 Golf.

"We are excited to have 1803 Golf as our official golf apparel sponsor of the Marty Brennaman Golf Classic," said Charley Frank, executive director of Reds Community Fund. "Their shared passion for both golf and community makes them an ideal partner and we look forward to showcasing their products at the event."

Hosted by Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman, the annual event brings together Reds players, alumni, broadcasters, and fans for a day of golfing, networking and philanthropy. Proceeds from the event will benefit the baseball and softball-themed outreach initiatives of the Reds Community Fund.

1803 Golf is an Ohio-based golf brand that has created a marketplace for emerging golf brands to connect with a new wave of golfers. The company’s mission is to create a platform for local brands to meet local golfers. The company currently has four team members and additional consultants.

The Reds Community Fund (RCF) is dedicated to improving the lives of underserved youth throughout Reds Country. The RCF reaches thousands of kids through free baseball, softball and education programs at the P&G MLB Cincinnati Reds Youth Academy and focuses on community-building initiatives such as the award-winning Community Makeover.
