A new business is coming to an historic Dayton district. Juicing Jammers Juice and Smoothie Bar will open this spring in west Dayton.

The juice bar will operate at 13 North Williams St. in the Historic Wright Dunbar Business District. The menu will feature healthy and nutritious foods including yogurt bowls, acai bowls, lemonades, overnight oats, avocado toast, fruit bowls, and salads.

Registered nurse Tawnni Miles started Juicing Jammers in 2017 by operating at events and farmers' markets. She recently signed a multi-year lease on a storefront with Wright Dunbar, Inc.

"As a registered nurse, I knew changing our diets was key to curing the ailments attacking health," Miles said.

The Wright Dunbar Business District is recognized by the National Register of Historic Places for its historical significance and is located west of downtown Dayton.

Juicing Jammers LLC is a Black-owned and woman-owned mobile juicer in Dayton.
