The Dayton Business Journal is launching an important resource in our coverage of startup businesses and innovation.
I’m proud to present Dayton Inno.
And the timing couldn’t be better. We have seen over the past 18 months how Daytonians, challenged during the pandemic, have made the most of their difficult situations by creating their own businesses.
Week after week we have been covering in the DBJ those entrepreneurs bringing their ideas to fruition. We will continue to write about those startups and their founders.
Dayton Inno will be their home.
Our coverage will focus on growth-stage companies and startups, entrepreneurs, venture trends and innovative initiatives across all industries. Inno covers the businesses and business leaders better shaping the future of our economy.
Inno is an established brand created in Boston back in 2009. It was acquired by the DBJ parent company, American City Business journals, in 2012. Our network is now up and running at more than 40 Business Journal markets around the country.
Dayton Inno aims to strengthen the innovation ecosystem in the Miami Valley through a robust platform of insightful and original content. While most of our content will be local we’ll also include news, context and insights from the American Inno network.
The innovation economy is becoming an important part of diversifying the economy of the Dayton region. That includes the companies and organizations stemming from technologies created at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
The time is right for Dayton Inno.
The Dayton Business Journal has seen the region have a rebound year from the pandemic that impacted 2020. We’re thrilled to launch this new Inno franchise for the Dayton innovation ecosystem and for our faithful readers of the DBJ across all our platforms.
