Dallas-based Healthmine appoints David DeWinter as new chief product officer

Dallas-based Healthmine has appointed David DeWinter as chief product officer, the company announced this week.

DeWinter joins the health insurance solutions tech company after working for Microsoft developing Office 365 products. According to a news release, he has experience developing healthcare-related software for San Francisco-based Extend Health.

“It has been a pleasure working with David again after our time together at Extend Health,” Bryce Williams, CEO of Healthmine, said in a news release. “He was a key contributor there and is already proving to be an exceptional leader of our product team at Healthmine. We’re excited to leverage his depth of experience in product development to grow and evolve Healthmine’s platform and continue to bring significant value to our clients in all markets.”

DeWinter said he looks forward to building the company's core product solutions and provide products and services to health plan clients.

“I believe Healthmine has a star-powered team and great product that uniquely positions us to make a huge impact on the American health care system,” DeWinter said in a news release. “When I see examples of how we help members achieve better health outcomes at a fraction of the cost, it makes me incredibly excited to join the team to help us get to the next level.”

According to the company website, Healthmine offers health insurance plan solutions designed to improve clinical and quality outcomes.
