Dallas restaurant technology firm Ziosk appoints new executives as it expands data capabilities

Dallas-based technology company Ziosk has appointed Eric Neilson as chief technology officer, Steve Beckham as chief marketing and brand officer and Sandro Natale as chief innovation officer, according to a news release.

“As we continue our journey toward elevating the dining experience, our goal at Ziosk is to better understand our clients’ guests and ensure that we’re providing the tools necessary to help meet their needs on their terms,” Rhonda Levene, president of Ziosk, said in the release.

Founded in 2007, Ziosk provides touchscreen technology to restaurants for guests to pay at their table.

Prior to joining the company, Neilson served as a director at New York-based SiriusXM, Natale served as a director at AT&T and Beckham worked in the hospitality industry.

“Each executive brings a different perspective to our business and understanding of the guest based on their unique backgrounds which will be key in ultimately mapping out the future of the company and expanding our model to respond to the needs of the industry with more agility," Levene said in the release.

According to the release, with Ziosk's launch of the PRO Server Tablet the company said it is transforming as an organization, which required a shift in executive leadership, as it is expanding its data, analytics and intelligence capabilities.

In 2020, Ziosk's restaurant products became increasingly popular after the coronavirus began to spread. The company's technology-enabled remote ordering and other features were in demand during social distancing.
