Fort Worth-based business company ECI Software Solutions has appointed Chip Coyle to serve as the new chief marketing officer, according to a news release. In his new role, Coyle will oversee ECI's global marketing and demand generation strategy.
"Chip brings years of strategic experience in driving global expansion and positioning companies for growth, with a broad understanding of what it takes to build successful, market-leading SaaS organizations at scale," Trevor Gruenewald, CEO of ECI, said in the release. "We welcome Chip to the team as we continue our growth journey."
Before joining ECI, Coyle spent two years as chief marketing officer for the marketing company Blue Prism.
"ECI has established itself as a leading global business software provider across many vertical markets and I am honored to join this team of technology visionaries," Coyle said in the release.
In August, ECI acquired Pennsylvania-based companies Data Inventions, Inc. and Lojic, LLC.
"Manufacturers are still just learning how valuable data-driven business intelligence can be for their operations and we believe the combination of the Data Inventions' Alora and Lojic manufacturing intelligence platforms have the power to become ubiquitous in the industry," Gruenewald said in a separate news release.
ECI Software Solutions was founded in 2001. The company provides business software services, focusing on cloud-based technologies. ECI has offices throughout the U.S., Mexico, Canada, England, the Netherlands and Australia.
