Dallas-based Alpine Advanced Materials snags aerospace executive as its new CEO
Brantner will bring experience in strategy and corporate development expertise, finance, operations, strategic sourcing and supply chain, and digital transformation.

Dallas-based Alpine Advanced Materials has appointed David Brantner as its new CEO, the company announced in a news release.

Brantner joins Alpine following four years of serving as a board member, consultant, and private investor in the commercial aerospace industry.

“David has dedicated his career to sustainability, from helping usher in the generation of largely composite aircraft to the development of fuel-efficient engines. He knows how to effectively reduce weight for manufacturers without compromising strength, which is exactly what we do,” Joe D’Cruz, executive chairman of Alpine Advanced Materials, said in the release. “Alpine is the perfect place for him to continue this legacy of reducing carbon outputs for not only new technology but also existing platforms that are ideal for retrofitting with better, lighter parts.”

Before joining Alpine, Brantner served as president of GKN Aerospace. He also served in various leadership roles within United Technologies Corporation (now Raytheon) (NYSE: RTX) including president of Pratt & Whitney’s Commercial Engines division and VP of Group Strategy for the same company. Additionally, he served as VP, Customer, Strategy and Growth for UTC Aerospace Systems (now Collins Aerospace).

According to the release, Brantner will bring experience in strategy and corporate development expertise, finance, operations, strategic sourcing and supply chain, and digital transformation.
