Novaria Group makes sixth purchase since early 2020 as it continues to strengthen defense holdings

A Fort Worth company that has been active in the M&A space lately has made another purchase, this time of a California company.

Novaria Group, a manufacturer of hardware for the aerospace and defense industries, announced Wednesday the purchase of Hydro Fitting Manufacturing Corp., a company that “specializes in custom high-pressure valves, charging kits, hose assemblies and fittings,” according to a news release.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Hydro Fitting, which will remain in Covina, California, serves customers in specialized sectors such as aerospace, defense, mining and heavy equipment and other industries, according to the release. Hydro Fitting will “complement Novaria’s existing fitting business, Acra Aerospace,” the release said.

“We’re excited to embark on our relationship with Hydro Fitting,” said Novaria CEO Bryan Perkins in the release. “They have a proven track record in manufacturing and supplying components that are vital to the aerospace and defense industries, which fits perfectly within Novaria’s vision and product strategy. I have personally admired their defense products and superb customer service for over two decades and am excited to welcome them to our family.”

According to the release, the purchase of Hydro Fitting marks Novaria’s sixth purchase since April 2020, as the company continues to bolster its aerospace and defense segments.
