After weeks of head-to-head competition, NTX Inno’s 2021 Tech Madness champion has been crowned.

Without seeming to break a sweat, MultiPark Valet went from 16-seed, a first-time participant in the bracket challenge, to claiming victory over far more well-established and well-funded companies.

MultiPark came out of the gates swinging from the start, easily taking out insurance tech company Bestow with more than 93 percent of the votes. In the following rounds, MultiPark kept its stride, taking the W over PureAcre, Zabo and blasting into the semifinals with a win against Mercado with more than 99 percent of the votes. The semifinals' pressure couldn’t stop MultiPark as it again dominated against boutique salon concept Pressed Roots, which had itself been on a hot streak.

In the final matchup, MultiPark stumbled slightly, for once not taking more than 90 percent of the votes. However, it still easily beat out digital display startup Glass-Media by nearly 400 votes.

MultiPark is a valet management platform connecting drivers to parking facilities, launched by Marcus Wells this year. The DFW startup recently released its app on the Google and iOS stores. The runner-up, Glass-Media, uses a proprietary liquid-crystal projection film to create digital and engaging storefronts. After securing a growth round of funding for an undisclosed amount earlier this year, with its eyes on a new round between $2 million and $3.5 million.

As a reminder, Tech Madness is a friendly, annual competition designed to highlight some of the region’s most exciting startups and draw attention to the entire ecosystem. Readers selected winners of each round based on one question: Who would you invest in?
