From fintetch to cybersecurity to software, despite the pandemic, a number of local tech companies have been growing throughout the year. And to highlight those making the biggest moves, local technology forum Tech Titans has revealed its Fast Tech list of fastest growing companies in the region.
This year’s list included 28 companies from across North Texas that were compiled based on revenue growth between 2017 and 2019. All the companies on the list had revenues between $2 million and $200 million, and were vetted by Moss Adams and Comerica Bank.
Though its 20th anniversary of the Fast Tech awards looked differently in the past, founders and entrepreneurs gathered virtually from empty offices and home setups to toast and honor the top five reveal at an event Tuesday.
“It’s more than, in my view, recognizing the company that is at the top of the list that gets an award, it’s more about recognizing all of the companies and (their) achievements, and it’s demonstrating that we do have a vibrant technology ecosystem here in DFW,” said Vance McCollough, partner at Moss Adams, at the virtual reveal.
The complete rankings and winner of Fast Tech will be announced at the 2020 Tech Titans Gala on Oct. 23.
