I want to give a big shout out to everyone who came out to Capital Factory Wednesday to help us celebrate our launch in North Texas and talk about how we can build a stronger network and community. It’s great to meet so many local innovators person.
If you weren’t able to make it, let me give you a breakdown of what you missed (besides some free Deep Ellum IPA).
We had a large turnout with people from every corner of the Metroplex and some from across the state, representing a good portion of the industries here in North Texas. While you’re probably familiar with NTX Inno, we do have 13 other markets we operate in. This gives us insight into bigger trends happening across the country and gives readers a network of contacts and information to leverage.
In North Texas and most other Inno markets, we send out a daily e-mail newsletter which offers a roundup of daily happening in the local tech and startup scene. However, if you haven’t had a chance yet, be sure to bookmark our site, which features in-depth dives into some of the major funding and news going on, as well as profiles of fascinating founders and innovative businesses. In addition, we also like to provide context and insight into the ecosystem through individual city guides, thought leadership from local movers and shakers, and network-wide features (Most recently, our Inno Autopsy piece looking at how an individual founder learned and grew from a previous failure.)
This is where, you come in, dear reader. In order to make NTX Inno a product of the region, it takes a community. From tips and feedback, to scoops on upcoming deals. I aim to be as accessible as possible, and would love to connect with you to hear everything from tips and feedback, to scoops on upcoming deals. I know I’ve heard from many of you, and I appreciate every comment. Keep them coming!
Again, thanks to everyone who came out and to everyone who has been reading. Also, thank you to our founding partners: Thomson Reuters, Accenture and UT-Dallas. Be sure to pass along the Beat to your friends and keep on making North Texas awesome.
