Sirisha Ghanta, VP of Operations at Trintech, was honored at the Dallas Business Journal's 2023 Women in Technology Awards.
Ghanta is responsible for operations related to customer experience.
Initially pursuing a career in health care as a physical therapist, Ghanta realized the health care industry was not an area she was passionate about. After taking courses at Collin County College, she entered the IT industry as a quality assurance analyst.
Ghanta said entering the technology industry with a health care background was a challenge, as there was a lack of trust from her peers.
“It wasn’t an easy process gaining trust,” Ghanta told the Dallas Business Journal. “I raised my hand to every opportunity presented..each opportunity was a new challenge that I was ready to take on and overcome.”
