Rashmi Jain, CIO at Careington International Corp., was honored at the Dallas Business Journal's 2023 Women in Technology Awards.
Jain is responsible for technology-related initiatives and systems for the company and its affiliates.
As a recent college graduate, Jain stumbled upon a job posting for an entry-level IT opportunity at Careington 25 years ago.
“I can say that my career unfolded beautifully starting with being in the right place at the right time, then being open to receiving the opportunities presented to me,” Jain told the Dallas Business Journal.

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment over the past year?
My team's contributions to the innovation our companies have developed in the last year is my biggest accomplishment. Specifically, Careington’s telehealth affiliate company DialCare and the upcoming launch of its first cloud-based SaaS platform.
What opportunity for your company over the next year has you most excited?
We are now being approached by some of our clients to provide IT solutions independent of our product offerings and admin capabilities. These are some of the very first IT-only projects where IT services are not playing a supportive role in our administrative capabilities but are being offered as an independent product.
