Pamela Luckett-Smith, Chief Digital Engagement Officer at Dallas College, was honored at the Dallas Business Journal's 2023 Women in Technology Awards.
Luckett-Smith is responsible for collaborating across all functional areas and serving as a thought partner to strategically develop a digital ecosystem that supports the learning process of all students.
Pursuing STEM courses in her early education and as opportunities presented themselves, Luckett-Smith’s enthusiasm for technology continued to grow.
“Throughout my academic career, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the capacity of technology to address social disparities and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion,” Luckett-Smith told the Dallas Business Journal.

2023 Women in Technology
What do you consider your biggest accomplishment over the past year?
Our most significant accomplishment in the last year was keeping the team focused on developing solutions in an agile manner to address the rapidly changing needs of our organization during the pandemic. What would have required a significant amount of research and development work was actually completed in shorter periods of time, resulting in our students' continuous support.
What opportunity for your company over the next year has you most excited?
The opportunity that has me most excited is the ability to collaborate and continue to serve as a thought partner to build a digital ecosystem foundation that will support student success and provide continuous process improvement.
