Kristy Reeves, Global Group Vice President at CBRE, was honored at the Dallas Business Journal's 2023 Women in Technology Awards.

Reeves is the global leader for the company’s digital and technology group, supporting its Capital Markets line of business and Salesforce enablement.

Reeves’ pathway to technology sparked during her collegiate career, taking required entry-level computer courses to fulfill her Business Operations Management studies. She said these courses were exciting to her thus began the draw into programming, databases and more.

“It is imperative as a woman in technology to find support navigating your career,” Reeves told the Dallas Business Journal. “Having people in your corner is fundamental in helping break down barriers, providing emotional support and guiding you with the tips and tricks to thrive in a competitive environment.”

What do you consider your biggest accomplishment over the past year?

I would say that my biggest accomplishment was moving my team into a hybrid work model after being in a remote work environment for over a year. As a leader, I became very intentional in listening and understanding each employee’s unique situation, which allowed our leadership team to determine the optimal hybrid model and the incentives necessary to attract the team back to the office.

What opportunity for your company over the next year has you most excited?

I’m incredibly excited about all the opportunities for my team to integrate our Enterprise Data Platform throughout CBRE’s business. The platform is a first-of-its-kind data platform, which transforms 36 billion data points from 300 global sources of information to provide insights for over 150 clients.
