Janet Robertson, Corporate CIO and VP of Enterprise Application Services at Raytheon Technologies, was honored at the Dallas Business Journal's 2023 Women in Technology Awards.
Robertson leads a large global team that supports enterprise pillar platforms, architecture, and development across the company and its business functions.
Robertson began her educational journey in Industrial Engineering, taking her first job out of college with an ERP software company catering to industrial distributors.
“The software and technology journey just accelerated from there,” Robertson told the Dallas Business Journal.

2023 Women in Technology
What do you consider your biggest accomplishment over the past year?
The last year has been a transformational journey, but given the rapid rate of change in our company and the war for key talent, I feel like taking my team’s voluntary controllable attrition from over 6% when I took this role to close out the year at 1.7%. A stable and happy workforce was at the heart of our ability to deliver on all our other commitments.
What opportunity for your company over the next year has you most excited?
We’re on the third year into our integration following the merger of UTC and Raytheon and we are embarking on the next stage of maturity through our operating model. The harmonization of our people, processes and technology into a closely related portfolio is an exciting door to open the possibilities for our industry and our customers.
