Individuals and organizations helping propel Central Ohio's innovation economy have a limited time to get in on the region's annual awards program for the tech industry.

The nomination window for Columbus Business First's 2022 BizTech/Inno Fire Awards closes on Friday, Sept. 23.

Business First has been recognizing promising startups, entrepreneurs and innovations since 2015, when we revived the popular TopCat Awards run by a predecessor of Rev1 Ventures.

Since then, BizTech has highlighted more than 90 honorees across a range of industries, including many that have gone on to create jobs and bring in venture money to the region. These include names such as CoverMyMeds, ScriptDrop, Bold Penguin, FMX and Alliance Data.

Business First rebranded the long-running program last year when we launched our sister site focusing on the early-stage startup scene.

Information on award categories and the nomination process can be found here.
