Back in 2018, the honorees in Columbus Business First's annual BizTech Awards included the likes of CoverMyMeds, Bold Penguin, Updox, ScriptDrop and Myonexus Therapeutics.
As regular readers know, all those companies have gone on to earn that recognition many times over, bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars in outside financing to the Columbus region, adding thousands of jobs, and helping gird the city's growing reputation as a quality technology hub.
We'll have to wait and see how this year's honorees match up, but they're all off to great starts. See the 2021 lineup below.
Highlighting up and coming companies and entrepreneurs was our goal since 2015, when Business First began carrying on the long tradition of the former TechColumbus TopCat Awards and Innovation Awards with our BizTech Awards.
We'll celebrate this year's honorees with an in-person, evening event on Dec. 2 at the Fawcett Event Center on the Ohio State University campus. More information and tickets can be found here.
