Gertsburg Licata Co. LPA, the Brooklyn Heights, Ohio, business law firm, is taking applications from startups and small businesses that want to join its new co-work and incubator space.

The incubator, called Soar 600, will provide free office space at Gertsburg Licata's headquarters — 600 E. Granger Road — as well as complimentary WiFi, utilities and parking, the law firm said in a statement.

In addition, member businesses will receive business services such as one hour of free legal counsel each month, a free legal risk assessment, a proactive litigation assessment tool, and invitations to business seminars, workshops and networking events, Gertsburg Licata said.

Alex Gertsburg and Louis Licata, who are both attorneys and business owners, joined forces two years ago. They acquired their 28,500-square-foot office and headquarters building in Brooklyn Heights in 2021.

"This type of opportunity for businesses in the first few years of operation is exactly what will put them on the path to success," said Gertsburg, managing partner of Gertsburg Licata and chair of Soar 600, in his firm's statement. "This is the kind of program I wished I had access to when I began my law practice."

Membership in Soar 600 is open to all startups and small businesses. Membership applications are due April 30. Interviews and site tours of the facility are expected to begin May 1.

Businesses selected to be a part of Soar 600 will be notified by May 15, and the inaugural cohort will begin June 1, the law firm said.
