Park Place Technologies, the global data center and networking optimization firm, has acquired Congruity360's Storfirst software platform for undisclosed terms.

Storfirst enables data center customers to manage the movement of their data from production servers to disaster recovery servers that are on-premises to the cloud, Park Place in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, said in a press release.

Park Place has been using Storfirst software, which launched two decades ago, to replicate file storage during data migration, said Brian Davidson, CEO of Congruity360, in the release.

"The acquisition of Storfirst is a tremendous addition to our portfolio of services and products, and represents great progress to expanding our software offerings," said Chris Adams, president and CEO Park Place, in the release.

Storfirst's ability to aggregate unstructured data and run analytics empowers customers to manage their data while reducing costs, Adams said.

Storfirst is not Park Place's first acquisition from Congruity360. In September, Park Place acquired the third-party maintenance, data migration services and new hardware sales assets of the Norwell, Massachusetts, company.

The Storfirst acquisition is the first software acquisition for the Mayfield Heights company since 2019, Jennifer Deutsch, chief marketing officer, said in an email.

In November 2020, Park Place acquired its nearest competitor, Curvature Inc. in Charlotte, doubling its employment and revenue.

Park Place in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, is the largest pure-play in the global and highly fragmented data center maintenance industry.
