Park Place Technologies has made its second acquisition in as many weeks, adding to its status as the largest pure-play in the global and highly fragmented data center maintenance industry.

The IT infrastructure services and software company in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, said it has acquired the third-party maintenance, data migration services and new hardware sales assets of Congruity360 in Norwell, Massachusetts. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Last week, Park Place acquired the inventory and logistics management software system NetSure+, developed by Charlotte, North Carolina-based SiteGrid. And in November, the local company acquired its nearest competitor, Curvature Inc. in Charlotte, doubling its employment and revenue.

"When we acquired Curvature late last year, it greatly strengthened Park Place's hardware maintenance and professional services capabilities," said Chris Adams, Park Place's president and CEO, in a press release.

The Curvature acquisition also created a "significant and meaningful competitor" to data center maintenance provided by original equipment manufacturers, such as IBM, Adams said.

Park Place will incorporate Congruity360's data migration practice to efficiently and cost-effectively carry out the largest and most complex data migrations, Park Place said.

Congruity360 is Park Place's second acquisition in 2021 and 18th acquisition since 2016, the company said.
