Product Collective, a fast-growing media startup in Cleveland, has acquired the New York Product Conference, the annual event for software product managers, for an undisclosed price.
Attracting hundreds of attendees each year, the conference will make its in-person return to the Times Center in Manhattan, New York, on Nov. 11, Product Collective said in a press release.
The New York conference will feature 12 speakers, interactive sessions and headliner Scott Belsky, chief product officer of Adobe and author of the bestselling book, "The Messy Middle."
"We’re thrilled to complete the acquisition of this important event for New York's product management community," said Paul McAvinchey, co-founder of Product Collective, in the press release.
"This is an event that we’ve collaborated with and have even attended in the past, but we’re grateful for the opportunity to partner in an even deeper way and invest even more into this conference in the years to come," McAvinchey said.
Founded in 2015, Product Collective connects and informs people who build software products.
Product Collective's flagship conference, Industry: The Product Conference, is a global software product management conference with thousands of attendees at past events in North America and Europe.
The next edition of Industry Global will be held in Cleveland on Sept. 19-21, 2022.
Product Collective also serves a community of more than 30,000 product management professionals with a weekly newsletter, semi-monthly video chat series, industry job board and virtual conference series.
Co-founder Mike Belsito also is co-host of Rocketship.FM, one of the longest-running podcasts for entrepreneurs and product management professionals.
