Cleveland Chain Reaction has announced the semi-finalists for its Business Pitch Showcase, which will take place on Sept. 29-30 at the Greater Cleveland Partnership.

This stage of the competition will put 24 businesses from different Cleveland neighborhoods and suburbs into a “business bootcamp” for six weeks. Participants will prepare their pitches before moving on to the Business Pitch Showcase.

The businesses come from different industries, including hospitality, food, technology, manufacturing and healthcare, but each was selected for demonstrating potential for growth, according to the news release.

Six winners will be selected by the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s COSE, JumpStart, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and Cleveland Development Advisors — in collaboration with program sponsors and entrepreneurial ecosystem partners.

The first-place winner will receive $40,000. There will be two second-place winners, and they will both receive $20,000. The three third-place winners will receive $10,000 each.
