After nearly a month, Tech Madness has finally come to a close.
And the winner? After just over 1,800 votes, NicheFire took the top spot over Tech Elevator by just 25 votes.
The company joins last year's inaugural tech winner, tilr, in the pantheon of former Tech Madness champions.
Did you miss what Tech Madness is all about? It’s our reader-driven bracket competition (like March Bracket Tournament) that aims to champion and highlight local startups — 32 of them, to be exact, and they faced off bracket-style over the past few weeks until the winner is determined. We encouraged voters to ask themselves, “who would I invest in?” However they were to interpret that question was correct. Did one company’s core values intrigue over another’s? Did one “player” already have a stronger showing of venture funding and they wanted to keep sharing the love? Etc., etc.
