Describe your core products and services. DMG provides facilities maintenance to more than 100 retail chains, distribution and fulfillment centers, REITs and medical facilities.

What new products or services have you introduced in the past two years? Covid-19 caused DMG to strategically pivot resources and services to fulfill its customers’ immediate needs. As a result of DMG’s nonessential customers’ temporary door closure, Gary pivoted resources to provide Covid-19 relief efforts to essential retailers on the front line of the pandemic. Gary advised his executive team as the organization stood up new verticals and service offerings. These services include sneeze guards, advanced sanitation services, social distancing crowd control, robust janitorial services, and other precautionary measures.

List two or three ways that your company is involved in the community. Gary Mitchell, CEO and president of DMG, serves as a board member for the Buenger Boys and Girls Club. Gary has served on the board for several years and assisted with a variety of events throughout his time. Recently he served as a mentor for one of the Club Kids. Gary served as a mentor to the youth member and prepared her to compete in the Boys and Girls Club annual Youth of the Year competition. In addition to the 1:1 mentorship, Gary continues to help the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Cincinnati by partnering them with job exposure opportunities at DMG. Through this partnership, DMG managed programming for the teens, with plans to hold a career day at the Newport location. There is also a gardening group for the third- through fifth-graders with DMG.

Giving back to our local community is of utmost importance. Specifically, DMG volunteers with the Homeward Bound Youth Shelter, a safe haven for homeless teens. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, employees extend monthly visits to interact with the youth, play games, and eat pizza. Every year for Christmas, DMG prepares a holiday stocking for each of the residents, supplying products such as body wash, shave kits, makeup, soft blankets, and monetary-like gift cards. Hand-written holidays cards are also prepared for the members of the center. DMG hosts Bingo Night at The Brighton Center and provides snacks and time with the teenagers.

How does your company attract and retain tech workers? DMG deeply values technology and employee development as we foster an autonomous workplace culture led by inventive thinkers. We strive to have the most cutting-edge technology within our industry and equip the technology team with state-of-the-art technology to remain trailblazers in the facility maintenance industry. DMG is an established organization with the perfect blend of seasoned employees and young, hungry talent. We get work done on a reasonable schedule, not expecting extended work hours, but we do expect a passion for the quality of the product.
