Describe your company and the service you offer. Subterra AI helps clients inspect, report on and manage their underground infrastructure.
What differentiates your offering from that of your competitors? Subterra AI currently has two product offerings. The first is an untethered floating sensor robot that is used for large diameter sewer inspections and can capture data up to 30 times more than its competitors. The second product is Terralytics, which is a cloud-based platform merging people with AI to automate the process of underground infrastructure inspections and management.
What's the market impact for your product? We are enabling our clients to inspect more for less, meaning that we are working to inspect more sewers nationwide than the 9% currently being performed each year due to current inefficient and costly inspection technology and methods.
What has been your company’s biggest success to date? We moved our startup from Sydney, Australia, to Cincinnati, where we secured a three-year contract with the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati.
