One of Cincinnati's largest auto dealerships continues to flesh out its technological offerings.

On Wednesday, Jeff Wyler Automotive Family announced the launch of WylerComplete, which lets customers buy used cars fully online in less than 15 minutes. The product, officials say, is the first of its kind for local auto dealers.

Currently, there are more than 1,200 used cars available for purchase through the platform. And like other used cars purchased through Wyler, they qualify for the company's 6-month, 6,000-mile limited warranty, which means Wyler will continue to service customers after they buy their cars, a differentiator from other online-only dealers.

The new offering comes just months after Wyler closed its first car sale entirely through cryptocurrency. It also comes as online car buying continues to surge in popularity. Earlier this year, for instance, Carvana became the fastest online auto retailer to have reached 1 million sales since its launch nine years ago.

In a statement, President David Wyler said WylerComplete allows the company to "expand our reach in the market and offer the convenience of a fully online shopping experience with the benefit of being able to call our highly knowledgeable sales team or come into our dealership at any point along the way."

According to Business Courier research, Wyler Automotive ranks as the No. 2 auto dealership in Greater Cincinnati, behind Kenwood Dealer Group Inc., with 17,739 vehicles sold in 2021. The company operates 23 dealerships in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana.
