Cohatch and North High Brewing have set the opening date for their newest locations in Greater Cincinnati as the dual Columbus-based companies officially plant roots at the region’s busiest shopping mall.

Cohatch, a coworking company with three other locations in Southwestern Ohio, along with its brewery neighbor will celebrate their grand opening Friday at Kenwood Towne Centre at 7875 Montgomery Road, Suite 42.

At 10,000 square feet, Cohatch Kenwood will include more than 26 private offices, coworking areas, meeting and event space, a sports simulator and outdoor patios.

The coworking space is attached to North High Brewing’s newest restaurant and bar which will serve up craft beer, food, cocktails and more.

Cohatch first announced the Kenwood location in May 2021, in collaboration with Brookfield Properties, the management company behind the Sycamore Township-based mall, the region’s busiest with nearly 1.2 million square feet of retail space and more than 180 specialty shops.

The company took up space in a long-vacant storefront adjacent to Tiffany’s.

“We couldn’t be more excited about bringing life to what had been an unused space,” Megan Dotzauer, Cincinnati market leader for Cohatch, said in a release last year.

Cohatch, founded in 2016, currently has 31 locations open or under construction in Columbus, Cleveland and Springfield, Ohio; Indianapolis; Tampa Bay; and Pittsburgh.

The company said it offers spaces with amenities that balance work, social, family and community, with 24/7 access and availability for weddings, conferences, events or fundraisers. Members can use the company’s other sites nationwide. And rental fees help fund Cohatch scholarships to local nonprofit organizations.

Cohatch made its entry into the Greater Cincinnati market in 2020 with a location in Mason. It quickly followed with spaces in Hyde Park — which also includes a neighboring North High Breweryand Milford, which opened last December.

The company is planning a fifth location at the Leader Building on Elder Street, just off Findlay Market, a project in cooperation with the Model Group. The 20,000-square-foot office will be Cohatch’s largest locally. A spokesperson said it will likely open in spring 2023 pending further construction delays and supply chain issues.

Overall, Cohatch has said it plans to open 10 total locations in the Greater Cincinnati area over time.
