One month ago, we asked you to pick the Cincinnati startup you'd be most likely to back from a pool of 32 companies. Now, just one remains.

Introducing your Cincy Inno Madness champion: TinnCann.

TinnCann was able to edge out Clean Earth Rovers, a Cincinnati startup developing a high-tech machine to fight plastic and water pollution. Overall, TinnCann brought in 57.7% of the votes, or 1,660 votes.

Launched in 2020, TinnCann allows 1-on-1 video chats with athletes and experts in fashion, photography, music and more. The startup graduated from the prestigious TechStars program in Chicago last year and is currently aiming to raise $1.5 million.

Currently, founder Ryan Frew is hoping to grow TinnCann's team, something the capital raise should accelerate. He recently told Cincy Inno growing TinnCann's headcount will allow the 14-month-old startup to build agency partnerships and a referral program, begin to drive user demand and make product improvements.

Check out the chart below to see the completed bracket.

We kicked off Inno Madness in 2018. Since then, four startups have gone on to win it all:

  • 2018: Tilr, a Cincinnati- and Canada-based tech company which billed itself as the "Match.com of recruiting"
  • 2019: NicheFire, a Norwood-based software company
  • 2020: Navistone, a Cincinnati-based marketing company
  • 2021: Sense Neuro Diagnostics, a Cincinnati-based firm working to create non-invasive brain scanners.
