Amify, a tech startup known for helping brands optimize their sales on Amazon, has expanded its leadership team in Cincinnati with the addition of three new senior level hires. Officials said the moves will help support the company’s fast-paced growth as it expands its footprint locally.

Christine McCambridge has joined as senior vice president of delivery; Drew Hall has joined as vice president of sales; and Steve Peele II has joined as vice president of marketing.

Since 2019, Amify has maintained dual headquarters in both Cincinnati and Arlington, Va. All three will be based in the Queen City.

“Amify continues to prioritize strategic growth, and the foundation of that is strong leadership,” Ethan McAfee, founder and CEO of Amify, said in a release.

All three joined Amify leading into the fourth quarter. McCambridge, Hall and Peele report directly to McAfee.

McCambridge, who joins Amify from Grey Commerce, will focus on helping Amify expand its service offerings. She has managed product sales for brands like Conagra, Mars Petcare and Energizer through multiple e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Walmart, Kroger and more.

Hall will be responsible for sales, new client acquisition and the development of innovative sales strategies.

He joins Amify with more than 15 years of digital performance media and martech experience. He spent eight years at Pointroll, which later became part of Amazon through multiple acquisitions, and took his first plunge into the startup space in 2014 joining Cincinnati-based Ahalogy. He was part of the team’s successful exit to Quotient (NYSE: QUOT) in 2018 for $50 million, and remained as the social product commercial lead until joining Amify.

Peele, meanwhile, will lead strategic efforts behind Amify’s marketing campaigns, deliver new clients and create brand recognition in the e-commerce space.

Prior to Amify, Peele led marketing initiatives for several local tech startups, including Dotloop, a real estate tech firm, which sold to Zillow Group for $108 million in 2015; Over-the-Rhine-based Astronomer; and online auctioneer Everything but the House.

“There is no other provider in this space that comes close to our level of expertise and creativity in each and every area our brands need to succeed,” McAfee said.

Amify continues to invest internally following its $5.8 million Series A in 2019, which included participation from local seed-fund CincyTech. A major priority includes bringing on new talent and adding depth to its team, McAfee said.

The company added a second HQ in East Walnut Hills, largely to access the city’s concentration of branding talent and to be close to Amazon’s $1.5 billion air cargo hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The company maintains a warehouse in Hebron.

About 60 of its 98 employees are based locally.

Amify bills itself as an "Amazon-as-a-service" provider and helps brands market themselves and their products with advertising and content. It also manages Amazon storefronts, oversees inventory and demand planning, as well as customer service and returns.

The company’s brand partners include Procter & Gamble and Energizer, as well as local companies Under the Weather, a Linwood-based portable pods business; Robert Rothschild Farms, a maker of small batch sauce; and Doscher’s Candy Co.
