An accelerator backed by St. Elizabeth Heathcare and Northern Kentucky University is looking for its next class.
SoCap Accelerate — which hosted its first cohort in October — is accepting applications for its next grouping of startups, according to its website. Applications are due March 3, with the program slated to begin in early April.
The program is aimed at helping health care-related companies grow and scale their businesses. Participants will be mentored on developing customers and building a product as well as marketing, legal and accounting guidance.
The accelerator does not require founders give up any equity and does not supply funding.
SoCap is led by executive director Rico Grant, founder of CrownMob, a startup marketplace for Black haircare, and a longtime mentor of startups in the region.
