Earlier this week, Cincinnati was host to its first-ever podcast festival at Memorial Hall in Over-the-Rhine.

The festival aimed to be "an interactive experience including live podcasts, creative pop-ups, breakouts and brainstorms" with opportunity to hear from leaders who are "using podcasts to grow impact and profitability." It included four tracks: culture, science and technology.

There were also performances from podcasters like Squirrel Stories, Pantsuit Politics Looking Up! and Pound This, with insights from industry thought leaders — think representatives from companies like Stitcher/E.W. Scripps, Enquirer Media, Hubbard Interactive Cincinnati and Cincinnati Public Radio.

Attendees were also given the opportunity to use tech and audio equipment to work on their own podcasts.

We've rounded up some tweets highlighting the event, below.
