Cloverleaf has updated its product.

The Cincinnati-based startup, which helps organizations establish more engaged teams via employee data collection, has launched new features for its subscription-based "turnkey performance management platform."

The goal of the platform is "unleashing people to do their best work," a release on the move states. "Using a combination of existing assessments and custom algorithms, Cloverleaf combines personality, culture and skills data to reveal insights on how both individuals and teams, work best."

Said platform, which is free for individual users and available by subscription for larger groups, employs a customizable dashboard for users to see data on both their teams and themselves. It also integrates with email, Slack (and similar programs) and calendars. This new edition includes avatar functionality, new data visualization tools and a "completely redesigned and re-engineered" dashboard.

Ultimately, Cloverleaf wants to optimize the data available to companies.

"Teams don’t need more places to communicate, but need the communication they currently have to be more effective," said CEO, Darrin Murriner. "Work engagement is stubbornly low. It all comes back to poor communication and less-than-ideal relationships with coworkers and managers in teams. We want people in teams to understand their role and appreciate the contributions their teammates can make."

The company was founded by Murriner and Kirsten Moorefield in 2016, and received an undisclosed investment from Queen City Angels during a venture round.
