Economic development entity Cintrifuse has announced the addition of four new members to its board of directors.
Gregory Crawford, president of Miami University; Ryan Kean, vice president of Technical Strategy and Architecture at The Kroger Company; Rod Robinson, founder and CEO of ConnXus; and Ashish Vaidya, president of Northern Kentucky University have all joined said board.
They add to a roster that includes leaders from Cincinnati Bell, the city of Cincinnati, Fifth Third, Vantiv and other local startups like Cerkl and Ahalogy.
It's a purposeful move, said Wendy Lea, CEO of Cintrifuse.
“As we continue to build out an innovation economy in the Greater Cincinnati Region, we are intentionally adding new board members that represent key stakeholders in our ecosystem,” she added. “The Cintrifuse board of directors, along with the CEO, is focused on achieving our goal: being the premier destination of startup innovation in the Midwest.
The news comes not long after the August announcement that Pete Blackshaw, formerly of Nestle, will replace Lea as CEO after she said she would depart Cintrifuse to “pursue a portfolio of work.”
