Mason-based ConnXus, a supplier management solution that helps underserved suppliers connect with larger enterprises, has announced an exclusive Diversity and Inclusion partnership with London-based Procurement Leaders over the next three years.

Through said partnership, ConnXus will help "drive meaningful change" for Procurement Leaders in three key ways. The first is a ConnXus-made webinar series with a focus on diversity within the supplier space, which the more than 700 Procurement Leaders membership organizations will have access to.

The second is ConnXus' forthcoming work with Procurement Leaders events, "sharing innovative approaches and highlighting diversity and inclusion as a leadership priority for CPOs."

Lastly, in what ConnXus is calling "the pinnacle of the partnership," is the ConnXus Diversity & Inclusion Award, presented at the 2019 World Procurement Awards. This recognition will highlight those companies and organizations that are embracing diversity and inclusion initiatives in their "big picture" projects.

"We want to create awareness of sustainable supply chains achieved through inclusion," said Daryl Hammett, COO & General Manager of ConnXus. "In addition to acknowledging the value and innovation these organizations obtain, we want to celebrate the impact they have on the local and global community."

Procurement Leaders CEO Nandini Basuthakur echoed Hammett's sentiments.

"The response from our network of 27,000 senior procurement executives to drive demographic, supplier and workplace diversity initiatives has been significant," she said.  "Getting this right is critical for the future of Procurement. I am excited about the future opportunities and platform this new partnership will create for wider diversity and inclusion within the procurement function."

This news isn't the first big headline for the 2010-founded ConnXus. In May, the company announced it had raised a $2 million Series B round, brining its total capital raised to more than $11.2 million.
