Amazon Web Services EdStart program, a web-based accelerator for education technology startups, has a new participant: Cincinnati-based Campus Suite.

The competitive accelerator program helps startups in the education industry further establish management solutions for schools via the AWS cloud, providing project credits, mentorship and customizable Edstart membership.

Campus Suite, which bundles resources for school communities in single, school-specific cloud-based hub, will have access to this instruction, as well as insight to best practices for security, product development and more, during its time in the accelerator.

The news comes on the heels of the company's announcement that it has an "aggressive plan" to debut new system features for administrators to better communicate with students' parents.

All in all, Campus Suite's participation with the accelerator will strengthen the company and propel it to achieve its goals, leadership acknowledged.

“This relationship brings the training and support of AWS to scale and improve our platform,” said Campus Suite CEO Eric Fulkert. “Being accepted shows that Amazon believes as strongly in our platform and future as we do. ... “We want to use our association with the EdStart program to help support our vision of helping parents help improve education outcomes through better engagement,” said Fulkert.
