Uptake
Uptake announced that it has added four GE veterans to its team: Kelly McGinnis, the former CFO of GE Power Digital, was named CFO; Ravi Marwaha, GE Digital’s previous chief success officer, was appointed head of customer success; Scott Bolick, the head of software strategy and product management at GE Power and Water, joined as head of portfolio strategy and industries; and Jay Allardyce, the chief product and marketing officer for GE Digital, was named head of corporate development & partnerships.
DialogTech
DialogTech, a Chicago tech company that provides marketing analytics for inbound phone calls, has named David Rush as its chief revenue officer. Rush was previously the co-founder and CEO of Chicago software startup Earshot. The company also named Viji Davis its senior vice president of marketing. Davis comes to DialogTech from Resolution Media, where she served as its CMO.
Maestro Health
Maestro Health, an employee health and benefits company, has named Florian Bezault as its CFO. Bezault joins the Maestro Health team from AXA Mexico, where he was the Head of Care Coordination. Maestro Health was acquired by AXA Group this year for $155M.
Tovala
Tovala, a Chicago-based smart oven startup, announced it has hired Lesley Butler as its new CMO. Butler had previous stints at Bain and PepsiCo, where she ran innovation and launched products for Quaker Oats.
project44
Chicago logistics startup project44 announced four leadership hires in August. Andrew Grygiel (former senior VP of marketing at Uptake) was named chief marketing officer, Vernon O’Donnell(former chief customer officer for STATS) was named chief customer officer, Jeanette Johnson (former VP of people at SPINS) was named VP of people, and Mateen Khadir (former Oracle-Texturaexecutive) was named VP of product.
Cars.com
Cars.com, the Chicago-based online car marketplace, announced that it has hired Matthew Gold as its chief strategy officer. He will be responsible for evolving and expanding the company’s growth strategy and leading its new business development initiatives. Gold joins Cars.com from Alphabet, where he was the head of strategy and operations for emerging market product partnerships at YouTube. Cars.com also named Doug Miller its chief revenue officer. Miller is replacing John Clavadetscher. Miller was the CEO of ChatBox, a communication tech company in Seattle.
Keeper Security
Chicago-based Keeper Security, which helps manage people's passwords, has hired two new employees. The tech company hired Jeff Hines as its vice president of sales. Hines, who has more than 25 years of experience with SaaS sales, has worked at Opentext, Oracle and Dell/EMC. The startup announced that it also hired Adam Everspaugh as a cybersecurity advisor.
