Cards Against Humanity has always sold well online (the popular card game is the top selling game on Amazon). But now the Chicago-based company is trying its hand at brick-and-mortar with its first-ever retail shop.
Cards Against Humanity announced that it has opened a pop-up shop at Block Thirty Seven in the Loop. The temporary store, located on the 3rd floor at 108 N. State Street, is open now through December 30.
The store will sell Cards Against Humanity products, as well as games, books, and zines independently produced by local illustrators and designers, the company says. The Cards Against Humanity design team designed the store.
The store is intended as a place to shop, as well as hang out with friends and test different games and products.
“The store was designed to be welcoming and memorable,” Sarah Gardner, art director for the shop and Designer at Cards Against Humanity, said in a statement. “Visitors should feel like they can stop by and stay for a while, whether they’re reading or testing out the games."
The shop is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Take a look through the space below.
