The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 has released its 2014 rankings of the fastest growing tech companies in North America, and 12 Illinois businesses cracked the list.

Seven Illinois companies made the top 200, including Chicago-based Rise Interactive, Brad's Deals, and kCura. The rankings were based on percentage of revenue growth between 2009 and 2013.

“Investor confidence has been steadily rising in the in the North American region—especially since last year—which translates to an accelerated pace of growth for businesses across sectors,” Jim Atwell, national managing partner of the Emerging Growth Company practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP said in a statement. “Interestingly, even companies in sectors requiring more capital intensive spend--such as hardware and semiconductors--which are viewed as the least-favorable sectors by VCs, are growing at rates more than 1000 percent.”

Here are all of the Illinois companies that made the list:

Rise Interactive (Chicago): No. 49

Textura Corporation (Deerfield): No. 118

Brad's Deals (Chicago): No. 138
