Meet the 10 Med Tech Startups Fighting Against Heart Disease and Competing For $25K in Chicago

Ten startups who are developing innovate ways to battle cardiovascular disease will present their projects at the Heart Innovation Forum November 14 in Chicago. The companies, which range from a robotic ultrasound system to a Google Glass CPR practice program, will showcase their innovations and compete for $25,000 in prize money.

Here are the 10 companies:

1. TeleHealthRobotics (Chicago)

TeleHealthRobotics improves heart valve replacement procedures with its Tele-Robotic Ultrasound Distance Imaging device, which includes robotic hardware, control software and video conferencing technology to make cardiac care safer and less expensive.

2. FitnessCubed (Chicago)

Chicago Inno has written a lot about FitnessCubed, mainly because it seems they enter just about every contest/accelerator that it can. And to its credit, it has a device worthy of the praise.
