At Chicago Inno, we hate when another publication finds a new disruptive, game-changing, (enter buzzword here) startup before we do.
But we have to give credit when credit is due and ClickHole has broken an amazing story on an incredibly innovative Chicago-based company that's destined to revolutionize the ride-sharing space.
The startup is called Whisk and they use monks and gongs to get users from A to B as fast and as efficiently as possible. No word yet on where they are in their Series A, but we expect to see them close this round of funding shortly. Very few products are as sure a thing in the startup world as Whisk is. Pretty great, right? ClickHole is the Onion's new digital property that skewers the click-bait content world we live in and was just named a Top 50 site by Time Magazine. We're excited to see them take a playful shot at the loftiness of some startup videos and mission-statements; the piece spotlights some terrific innovation buzzwords that we're all too guilty of abusing ourselves.
Unfortunately, we also wish Whisk was real. Get on this 1871!
