A Chicago dental group has plans to expand after closing a $25 million raise this month.

Founded in 2013, Dentologie is a full-service tech-enabled dental clinic that offers care for cleanings, cavities, Invisalign, teeth whitening and other services.

The Series B was led by San Francisco-based investment firm C&S Family Capital and follows a $16 million Series A raise the brand secured in June 2022, which included investors Warburg Pincus, Hyde Park Venture Partners and 81 Collection.

Gregg Kaplan, the founder and former of CEO of Redbox DVD Rental, also joined the company as its new CEO in June last year.

Since then, Dentologie has grown from four locations in Chicago during its Series A raise to plans for 10 by the end of 2023.

Dentologie will look to open eight to 12 more practices following this Series B raise and expand into new markets in 2024 and 2025.
